POMEGRANATE

The Medicine of the Pomegranate is the Forever Spring or that of Endless Renewall and Joy. The medicinal parts of the Pomegranate is the seeds and rind of the fruit. The seeds in potions and teas are an astringent, causative, and purgative and are one of the oldest recorded cures for tape or other kinds of worms in system. The rind of the Pomegranate is high in tannin and works well as an astringent whether in poultices to the skin or in potions and teas as well as a douche. The juice of the Pomegranate is also a good purgative and remedy to bladder and kidney problems.
